Review by hotel critic
My recent stay near New Chitose Airport was a pleasantly convenient experience. Arriving in the dark of an autumn evening, I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the airport, making for an easy transition after a long flight. The lobby, while showing its age, was quite grand and offered a restful atmosphere to unwind. My room, spacious and comfortable, had light marble décor that complemented the overall aesthetic, creating a serene space to relax. The bathroom was equally expansive and well-maintained. Dining options were satisfactory; I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which set a positive tone for our subsequent long drive. Surrounding the hotel, various eateries provided good alternative choices, enhancing our culinary exploration. I faced a minor inconvenience regarding room sizing; the corner suite advertised for five seemed more suitable for four, prompting us to arrange an additional room for our family. While the staff displayed some fatigue, likely due to their workload, they remained functional in assisting with our needs. This establishment successfully blends traditional elegance with modern comfort, an inviting choice for travelers.
